Many of his books are reflecting events from his life, happening during his travels or life abroad. However, our next book is an ode to the city, people he met while living in it, and the historical time he lived there. Elizabeth Kostova’s The Historian is one of my all-time favourite books. It’s one of those books I’ve read several times. I actually love to do that with books I love. Reread it after a few years.
