Who is your museum guide?

My name is Tea Gudek Snajdar, and I will be your museum guide! I am an art historian (MA), museum educator, published author, blogger and occasional curator.

I’ve been providing private and small-group tours at the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum since 2016. During that time, I explored their collections and famous paintings in detail. I also researched locations linked to the life and work of Vincent van Gogh in Europe during the two-week-long trip from Amsterdam to the south of France. I wrote an art crime novel, “Following Van Gogh”, inspired by those locations, but also the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum collections.

I’m also writing articles on topics of cultural tourism, travel, museums and art.
